Bio

Dr. Claire Tusch attended Cornell University majoring in immunology and microbiology. Following graduation, he supervised a laboratory engaged in retroviral research at the Veterinary College and subsequently entered a Master of Science degree program. Dr. Tusch graduated from the New York State College of Veterinary Medicine at Cornell in 1987. Following graduation Dr. Tusch entered private practice and purchased the Wells Veterinary Hospital in 1990. He developed the mixed animal practice into a multi-doctor hospital treating all creatures great and small. Appreciating the importance of an integrative approach to medical care, he certified in Veterinary Acupuncture at the Chi Institute and has further studied Chinese herbal medicine, Tui-na, food and nutritional therapy, orthopedic/medical manipulation and other energy and body work techniques. In 2009 he established Tuschs' Integrative Veterinary Care, a practice dedicated to an holistic integrative approach to healing. Dr. Tusch is an instructor and lecturer for the Chi Institute.
