Bio

Dr. Kosei Yamagiwa received his veterinary degree (DVM) from Nihon University, Japan in 2000. In 1997, he attended Dr. Xie’s first TCVM seminar at the University of Florida, USA. He worked with Dr. Xie as a diagnostician and clinical residency of TCVM at WMTH of the college of veterinary medicine, Anesthesiology & Pain management service in the department of large animal clinical science of University Florida from 2001 to 2002. He is the co-author of Xie’s Veterinary Acupuncture. In 2002 he attended the CVA equine class course at the Chi institute and become a certified acupuncturist in 2002. In 2002 he also attended CVCH class course at the Chi institute, and become a certified Chinese veterinary herbalist in 2002. In 2003 he also attended CVT class course in Chi institute and become a certified veterinary Tui-Na practitioner. He opened The TCVM clinic in Hokkaido, Japan since 2003, currently, he offers many horses as a TCVM specialist veterinarian.
